How is English 360° scored?

English 360° is scored by what is called a hybrid model combining the following:

• Reading & Listening sections are scored by computer-generated results using a highly accurate proprietary algorithm.

• Writing & Speaking sections are scored by our professional English-native-speaking evaluators.

* Results are available within 24 hours of the test being completed.

What is hybrid scoring?

English 360° scoring is a combination of computer-generated scoring and human evaluators.  

How are English 360° evaluators selected, trained and monitored? 

All examiners for the English 360° speaking test undergo a rigorous training programme in order to qualify. They must meet high standards of professional requirements, including a university degree, holding a recognised language teaching qualification, providing proof of substantial and relevant teaching or evaluator experience within the last five years, and must be a native English speaker. 

The examiners undergo extensive training, are continuously monitored, and must undergo training and re-certification every two years.
